Material Beauty

Mahnaz Collection mounted the exhibition Material Beauty: Modern Hopi, Navajo and Pueblo artist Jewelers at their 57th Street Gallery in New York, November 12, 2018 through December 4, 2018. The exhibit featured over 175 pieces of jewelry by makers who evolved historic new directions in southwestern Native American jewelry, beginning in the 1960s with the visionary Hopi artist Charles Loloma.

London Originals

This exhibition featured over 150 jewels from the 1960s and ‘70s at Wright, 980 Madison Avenue in New York City. The exhibition showcased jewelers working in London during a period of seismic changes in the arts, architecture, technology, design, fashion, music, women’s rights and youth culture. The sheer force of their free design sensibility fostered a renaissance in jewelry, resuscitated the moribund British jewelry world and made London relevant once more as a hub of jewelry innovation.

Forma Livre

In collaboration with Wright, the leading Chicago-based modernist design auction house, Mahnaz Collection curated a collection of jewels by two Brazilian brothers, the artist Roberto Burle Marx and the jeweler Haroldo Burle Marx, who transformed Brazilian jewelry and represent the best of Brazilian mid twentieth century modernist design.
