BIOGRAPHY

Between 1950 and 1965, Roberto Burle Marx designed innovative modernist jewelry that celebrated Brazil’s semi-precious stones through bold gold compositions inspired by his landscapes. He worked alongside his brother, Haroldo Burle Marx—an innovator in lapidary work and gemology—who was also a masterful independent jeweler.
